POINTILLISM

Pointillism  is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image.  We worked this tecnique with cotton buds and when we finished our pictures we framed them.

We made bookmarks with card. They enable us to keep our place in the book we are reading through and not to get lost. Have a look!!!, they are so coool.

CHARCOAL PICTURES

We have coloured these pictures with charcoal pencils. We shaded them on our own style. Do you like them?

SYMMETRY COLLAGES

 Students have made collages whose inspiration comes from the concept of “symmetry. “  The idea for this project was to create an abstract work of art using various symmetrical shapes and designs– that is, shapes and designs whose sides correspond in equal proportions with each other.

 As you can see, students have used a number of materials, including colored leather paper, paper with elaborate prints, and, as a background, coloured card. 

Some also depict scenes in nature, despite their abstract designs.

WHAT IS A DOODLE?

A doodle is an unfocused drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes

THE SOLAR SYSTEM

These are the displays the students of 6ºA have prepared about the Solar System. 
They had such a great time making them!
While they were doing them, they learnt many things about the Solar System and the planets, so we are sure that they are going to do it very well in the next exam.

3 CIRCULAR FOAMS

WHAT INVENTIVE THINGS CAN YOU CREATE WITH 3 COLOURED CIRCULAR FOAM SHAPES?
Look at some of the designs the students have created. For example "The Cat in Boots" picture is a pun of the film with the same title. "Pacman" is one of the classic video games loved by all ages. "The Snowman" picture es full of snowflakes, perfect for the winter season and the "spring" picture with the glorious blue sky is a lovely reminder of what weather we can look forward to.

So, as you can see our class can really make 3 simple circular foams come to life! Well done.

        

                                                           

PEACE DAY

We have created another amazing art piece for Peace Day with a 3D effect poster that contains all the colours you could ever imagine.
All of us drew an outline of our hands and decorated it on our own style. We added a little pvc glue and before you know it, the hands are reaching out to you! Carefully arranged in a circular pattern.
The centre of the poster contains the well recognized Peace Symbol. It is blue and white and sparkles in the light. Can you guess what symbol is made from???? You can eat it!!!
